When only the best will do, head to Jensens Restaurant perched at the end of Kareela Village on Bates Drive. Jensens’ modern decor provides an air of beach chic sophistication with a welcoming and enticing ambiance highlighted by hanging, designer light installations, marble topped bars, pops of greenery alongside blue booths, white leather arm chairs and bench seating, to create a multi-functional dining space. Creator, Carl Jensens and Group Head Chef, Tim Hemmings have produced a Mod Oz menu reinventing old favourites paired with new techniques and plated with flare to bring sumptuous dishes to the table, perhaps begin with seared scallops, saffron parsnip puree, prosciutto and pangritata, before moving onto mains of whole John Dory with brown butter sauce and crispy sage.
